Aer Lingus to Double Service to Tenerife Over Winter

Aer Lingus

The Cork to Tenerife service is to be doubled by Aer Lingus over the Winter Season due to the increase in demand.

This announcement increases the capability of the airline by an extra 7000 seats for holidaymakers in Munster region which is the southerly province of Ireland, consisting of the counties of Cork, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.

At the moment there is only one flight on a Sunday but this will increase to Thursday and Sunday and is to start on October 29 and run until the end of March 2016.

“The year round sunshine in Tenerife is one of the major reasons that it is so popular with the Irish population especially the Munster region” said an airline spokesman.
